Frequently Asked Questions

  • How will my eyebrows return to their pre laminated state?
It is often thought the hair is relaxed and then wears off. In fact, the Brow hairs that are relaxed will eventually grow out and be replaced by new hair in their original direction, just like your eye lashes. Therefore the frequency of the treatment is different for everyone as it depends how quickly your treated Brows grow to be replaced with new untreated lashes. When your start to feel an overall resistance in combing the hairs return this is a good indication you are ready for another lamination treatment
  • Will my hair be set in one place?
Your brow hair will now be trained to sit in a different direction, but you will still need to brush them into place each day
  • Will my brows stay looking shiny?
The hydrating solution I place on the brows after treatment creates a high shine, this will absorb into the hair and skin and after 24 hours you will have a more natural fluffy texture back to the brows
  • Will I still need to use brow pencil?
This depends on your natural shape and your personal preferences. If you use a pencil to fill gaps in the brows, then it may take a few appointments to allow any bigger gaps to be filled though natural hair growth but I can often place the brow in a way to compensate smaller gaps. If you use brow pencil to add a stronger definition you can still do this after 48 hours, the lamination will create a great structure using your natural hair that can then be further enhanced with pencil
  • Can I Have Brow Lamination if i am pregnant or having IVF?
Providing you have a non-reactive patch test you can go ahead with the treatment, however due to fluctuations in hormones it is not guaranteed that the Brow lamination will take as normal so you may not get as noticeable movement as you desire or have experienced before.
